HOT DOG
Remember that in the Territory temperatures can rise dramatically and that dogs left tied up in the back of utes, or even worse, locked in cars with windows up can become seriously sick with some cases becoming fatal.
When required to leave your pet unattended always supply water in a sturdy container that cannot be knocked over. Where possible place the vehicle in a shaded area and tie your pet to a tree or solid object outside the car. Allow plenty of ventilation if your pet must be contained inside the vehicle. Always contact your vet if your pet shows any signs of dehydration.
