Dog Trap - Helpful Hint
If you are attempting to trap a domestic or semi domestic dog there's a good chance they have been fed processed tinned dog food at some stage in their lives.
Purchase an inexpensive tin of dog food from your local supermarket, using a screwdriver pierce approximately six holes in the top of the tin and place it on the floor at the rear of the trap, then bait and set your trap.
Dogs in the area will recognise the scent from the tin food which will help attract them to the trap.
Whelping Box - Details
There are 4 metal rails fitted near the inside walls of the Whelping Box, when puppies are laying against the inner walls, these rails assist in the prevention of the mother dog from laying on them and potentially smothering or squashing the pups.
The front of the whelping box is lower than the sides and back, this allows the mother dog to freely come and go from the Whelping Box whilst still being high enough to confine the puppies.
